Hiba Moaswes, born in 1998, is a Palestinian American artist that was raised in the United Arab Emirates. She graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication majoring in Studio Arts from the American University in Dubai.

Prior to beginning her undergraduate degree, she won a scholarship to attend the Berklee College of Music’s Five Week summer program as a drummer. Although her degree is in Studio Art, where she has worked with a plethora of different media types, she gravitates towards sculptural media, mainly installations. She works towards combining her musical abilities within her artwork.

Hiba has exhibited her work in both Alserkal Avenue and Tashkeel. Currently, she is balancing her career in fine arts and marketing for a local interior fit-out company.
